The club divided and conquered this weekend. There was some high quality beach detecting with MANY coins found (the rest of us will be asking for instruction - wow!).
Pursuant to the Club's commitment to preserving our natural heritage, the second party participated in Clean Creek Fest 2022, sponsored by First Magnitude Brewing Company. Several hundred pounds if garbage pulled out of Sweetwater Branch Creek. We don't know how much because we couldn't even get it all in the car.
This part was like being in the trash compactor scene of Star Wars. That bucket is floating on sticks about 2 ft off the bottom:
